Extras

Quickie time!; Facebook games I play;
Farmville - 0/10. Do I really need to explain myself?
MafiaWars - 6/10.
Restaurant City - 8/10
Family Feud - 9/10 - Classic game
Hotel City - 5/10
Texas Holdem Poker - 8/10 - Poker game, still fun.

iPhone games. (Very lenient)
I personally have an ipod touch, and a Droid 2. I wanted an iPhone for the longest time, then I picked up a droid. Fuck iPhones. BUT that doesn't stop me from getting fun games on my ipod.

Doodlejump - Quirky little jumping guy battles monsters and flies through the air. 9/10
Pocket God - Be good or evil, either way kill all the people. 10/10
Robot Unicorn Attack - ALWAYS I WANT TO BE WITH YOU MAKE BELIEVE WITH YOU 9/10
Inkvaders - Seemingly hand drawn guy fights aliens to save the world - 7/10
Book Worm - Love this game. 'nuff said. 10/10
Coin Dozer - Stick a coin in a machine, make other coins drop. 7/10. Fun game, but repetitive (duh.)
Yahtzee Adventures - Yahtzee! *flaps arms* 9/10
Plants Vs Zombies - Small size isn't bad, computer version is waaayyy better. 7/10
Truckers Delight - Fun freaking game. I mean if you ever saw the digesting funny video, the game is so for you. However it gets repetitive VERY fast. 7/10
Doodle God - Create elements? I always wanted to be an alchemist..... 9/10
Where's Waldo - What. They. Made. That? 11/10
Angry Birds - Throw birds into pigs to kill them and their forts. 9/10
"Gangstar" - iphone rip off of GTA. Horrid graphics, bad controls. 3/10
Cash Cab - Silly little game, weird questions. 6/10 I liked the show better.

Round Two; FIGHT.

ONLINE GAMES

I play games online because of the multiplayer aspect.
Usually they are semi-childish but overall amazing games for plot and time killing-ability.
My grading scale on online games is very leaniant and not as destructive like normal video games.

MapleStory - Fun game. Very childish with the chibi aspect of the characters, but it's a interesting storyline and a very good time killer. 8/10

SecondLife - This game was one of those things brought to my attention by my ex-girlfriend who no matter what always has to be playing an online game with people. It was cute, but she usually spent more time with those than talking to me. . . anyways. Couldn't call this a game as just a semi-rpg talking simulator. It was.. okay. 6/10 but if I found more people to talk with it'd be higher, because well.. having normal conversations with people isn't as fun as friends who joke around.

Speaking of SecondLife and talking simulators;

IMVU - Again talking simulator, not a game, just create an avatar and have conversations. It was good when it first started, then it became another game that you must pay to have any fun. When it first started 9/10 now 5/10

GaiaOnline - My bad habit for the last 4 years. IF you ever go around the internet you'll come across a place called an Avatar site. Similar to IMVU, but with this the avatars do not move. They are small chibi-ish. Yet with this site it was originally built around the Forum aspect, so it's a lot of forum talking, but lately they have created a lot of games to play, including an Oregon trail rip off and others. 9/10

Let's Play

Time to get started on my opinionated crappy reviews;

Red Dead Redemption - Amazing game. Open world environment mixed with riding horses and amazing scenery is like sex for the eyes. I played for hours before I realized it had a story line. 9.5/10

Crackdown 2 - Semi-open world enviroment. Great game, story line wasn't as good as I had hoped. It's a lot.. a LOT of mindless killing. At least at nights you can kill zombies. 8/10

World Of Warcraft - I've had the game sitting on my shelves for months. I finally put 30$ down, got a 2 month sub, and pretty much did jack squat with it. It's the worlds biggest MMO and for that reason I find it rubbish. It's an okay game, but I just plain don't like it. When it starts to die down, or when my friends stop ignoring me so much for it, i'll consider.

Just Cause 2 - Just picked it up today. Got through the first mission, and even on Normal settings, it's a bitch to control and play. The grapple hook never works like you want it to, so when you try to get to buildings in dire situations it feels like not working. F**KING GRAPPLE. I NEED TO GET UP THERE THEY ARE SHOOTING AT ME. Surprisingly on expect mode the grapple wouldn't attach to even people. I can't rate it, i still have 3 days left.

Kane & Lynch 2; Dog days - meh. To put this in the best way possible, meh. The aiming is horrible, the "Documentary" third person perspective sucks, as if some guy was actually there with a camera and truly sucked at taping. I had it set on freaking easy and for some reason when hiding behind a car, people can headshot me. Anyways, the story progression was slow and at some points I was running in circles because they don't tell you where to go. (of course that's just me trying to play a game at 3am) 6/10

Lego Batman - Who can beat the lego games? Fun, exciting, gets old after the first few missions. Yet the over whelming child-adult humour can keep anyone entertained for hours. I can't explain it but 9/10

Left 4 Dead 2 - Who can't like killing zombies? I love this short-esque game built around a group of 4 people going around killing zombies trying to escape. The single player mode keeps you entertained as you get to the end, while after you beat that most of the game hasn't even been uncovered until you go online. That's when it gets very interesting. People killing each other left and right as zombies and humans, trying to fill gas tanks or just survive. Amazing game. 9/10

Rockband - Meh. More of a Guitar hero person. 7/10

Guitar Hero 5 - Meh. More waiting for Warriors Of Rock to come out. 6/10

DLC for XBOX live.

Limbo - This dark twisted tale about a child like figure going through the forest and beyond in search of something not told. You go through all these twisted turns and try to get to some unbeknownce ending (still playing it.) You fight spiders, bear traps, and water rushing. For a 2d side scrolling black and white game, I give it a 9.8/10

SCOTT PILGRIM, VS THE WORLD - Duntduntundunddundnd. Amazing movie, it only showed in my town for 2 weeks then it was taken out. I know this because I tried to go see it again the day it left. Fffff..
Anyways the game is a side scrolling 2.5D game, with classic graphics that would make a SNES fanboy squeal. It of course ike the movie follows the books (very loosely) and sends you on a fun trial with up to 4 friends at once. Overall great.

A New Beginning

To start off, this blog is made, created and will be used for the soul purpose (as of right now) for a school assignment to "blog" about games I have played.
